Vehicle strikes security barriers outside White House

WASHINGTON, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- A passenger vehicle struck a security barrier near the President's residence, the US Secret Service confirmed Friday.
The security officers immediately apprehended the female driver of the vehicle. There were no reports of injuries. In a message posted on Twitter, the Secret Service said, "The vehicle did not breach the security barrier of the White House complex." In response, the White House was ordered under lockdown, forcing Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to stay at the residence following a bilateral meeting with President Donald Trump while authorities started investigating the incident.
