Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah meets with Russian Ambassador Alexey Solomatin
KUWAIT, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah on Thursday discussed with US Ambassador Lawrence Sliverman Kuwaiti-US relationship, in addition to recent regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for the Deputy Foreign Minister's Office Affairs Ambassador Ayham Al-Omar and Assistant Foreign Minister for the Americas Reem Al-Khaled.
Separately, Al-Jarallah met with Russian Ambassador Alexey Solomatin and discussed with him Kuwait's step to mobilize support for a draft resolution on the humanitarian situation in Syria and submit it, jointly with Sweden, to the UNSC.
During the meeting, the two sides considered their relationship prospects, and recent regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by by Assistant Foreign Minister for the Deputy Foreign Minister's Office Affairs Ambassador Ayham Al-Omar. (end)
