Kuwait parliament speaker praises His Highness Amir's humanitarian acts

KUWAIT, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said Monday His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's generosity reflected his keenness to involve all people in jubilance marking "our national days." For the second day in a row, Al-Ghanim tweeted, His Highness the Amir "is announcing good news on the occasion of Kuwait national days." His Highness the Amir ordered earlier today giving financial grants to orphans at his personal expense.
His Highness the Amir made the initiative toward the orphans on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of Kuwait's National Day and the 27th anniversary of Liberation Day.
His humanitarian move toward this segment of the society came a day after he ordered payment of debts for imprisoned citizens and expatriates, also on the same occasions.
Al-Ghanim said His Highness the Amir was showing one more time that national days "are not restricted and all segments should enjoy it." (end) ns.bs
