KUWAIT, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Monday hailed His Highness the Crown Prince as among the beacons of the country, a man whose contributions to national development are immeasurable.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is an exemplary leader and the epitome of national pride, the Kuwaiti defense minister told KUNA roughly 12 years to the day His Highness the Crown Prince took the oath of office.
He went on to say that His Highness the Crown Prince's unbridled love for Kuwait has enabled him to "write historic chapters of success to the history of the country."
Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah recalled His Highness the Crown Prince's tenacity when he served as interior minister, saying he stood in the face of the scourge of terrorism.
He assured that His Highness the Crown Prince would not rest on his laurels, rather, he will continue to stand by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as the nation looks forward to epochs of prosperity and development. (end)
