Two Palstinians injured by Israeli raid S. Gaza - spokesman

GAZA, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Two Palestinians were injured in an Israeli air raid in southern Gaza Strip after four Israeli soldiers were injured in a roadside bomb in the enclave earlier Saturday, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Medics transferred to hospitals two Palestinians who were injured in the Israeli raid east of city of Rafah, southern Gaza, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qodrah, ministry spokesman, said in a statement.
Ambulances are still at the scene to take any other possible casualties, he added.
The Israeli Air Force bombarded six positions that belonged to Hamas and other Palestinian groups in different parts of Gaza, inflicting heavy material damage.
Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas military wing, said air defenses opened fire at the Israeli fighter jets. (pickup previous) wab.bs
