Four Israeli soldiers wounded in bombing on Gaza borders - Israeli army

GAZA, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- At least four Israeli soldiers were injured on Saturday when a bomb blew up on a road near Gaza's demarcation line, the Israeli army announced.
Two of the injured are in serious condition, Avichay Adraee, spokesman for the Israeli army, said in a press statement.
He added that the Israeli artillery shelled an observation post in the southern Gaza Strip in response to the bombing carried out by a military force near the security fence.
Some Israeli media outlets reported that the explosion led to the death of an Israeli soldier after being taken to Soroka hospital in Beersheba.
Earlier, Israeli TV station, Channel 4, said the explosion targeted a force of the elite Golani Brigade, wounding some personnel, adding that one of them suffered critical cuts.
Some Palestinian military factions have lauded this operation, but no body has claimed so far its responsibility for the attack. (pickup previous) wab.hm
