ISTANBUL, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- The Turkish army sent Friday further reinforcements to units stationed next to common borders with Syria, military sources said.
A convoy included armored carriers and ambulances arrived in Hatay province, southern Turkey, as part of operation Olive Branch against Kurdish separatists in the Syrian city of Afrin, the sources were quoted by Anadolu news agency as saying.
The military vehicles were deployed at the borders, they said.
The Turkish army has been launching the operation against the Kurds in Afrin since January 20. (end)
