Over 25 Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli forces

RAMALLAH, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- More than 25 Palestinians were injured during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Friday, part of ongoing protests against US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Three persons came to Palestine Medical Complex in the West Bank, one hit in his thigh and the other two suffered bullet wounds in different parts of their bodies, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Six other Palestinians were rushed to different medical centers, it added.
The clashes in the West Bank took place in a number of towns and villages.
Meanwhile in Gaza, 23 people were injured in confrontations with the occupation forces.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesman of the Palstinian health ministry in Gaza, said one of the injured was in a critical condition because he was hit by a bullet in the head.
He said the injured were taken from different parts of Gaza, where people were holding regular demonstrations against Trump's decision, which also included the transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. (end) nq.wab.bs
