Egyptian Military Operation in Sinai
CAIRO, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- Three terrorists were killed while 68 locations were targeted by the army within the Comprehensive Military Operation of Sinai 2018, said a statement by the armed forces Friday.
The statement indicated that 224 suspects were arrested in the operations, adding that 150 hideouts were destroyed while a large number of equipment, weapon caches, and vehicles were confiscated.
The various factions of the Egyptian military and armed forces launched on February ninth an anti-terror operation aimed at ridding the Sinai Peninsula from terror elements. (end)
