Kuwait's veterans football team
DOHA, Feb 12 (KUNA) -- Host nation Qatar won a three-nation veterans' football tournament after a 0-0 draw against Oman in the last match at Doha Stadium on Monday.
Qatar's veterans claimed the trophy with four points after an earlier victory over Kuwait, who came second with three points.
Meanwhile, individual honours went to players from each of the sides.
Hussain Al-Mukaimi of Kuwait took best goalkeeper, Qatar's Abdulaziz Hassan was top goalscorer and Oman's Salem Jomaan the tournament's best player.
The event's chief organiser Ali Al-Ali praised the gathering of the three neighbouring nations, saying it was extremely successful and will continue next year. (end)
