Turkish warplanes bomb 109 KDPS tarkets in Afrin - sources

ISTANBUL, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Turkish fighter jets bombarded Saturday 108 targets of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria (KDPS) in Afrin in northern Syria, including a military airport, military sources said.
The Turkish warplanes bombed KDPS' targets as part of operation Olive Branch, the sources were quoted by Anadolu news agency as saying.
They said all those killed or injured and were taken to hospitals were KDPS militants.
The Turkish army said the operation aimed at restoring stability and security at the borders, and to eliminate terrorists in Afrin. (pickup previous) ta.bs
