KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- A metal piece from a power grid tower next to the Sixth Ring Road has fallen on the road but no one was hurt, the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation said Friday and that it would investigate the matter.
The metal piece used for protection and installed under the power grid cables had fallen due to strong wind and unstable weather condition, Authority Director General Eng. Ahmad Al-Hassan told KUNA.
He explained that this metal piece was placed under the high-voltage cables for safety purposes.
Al-Hassan confirmed no one was hurt and parts scattered on the road due to the accident were removed.
