KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Textile threads are viewed as merely lifeless items, however with an artistic touch, they can be turned into pieces depicting traditions and history.
These is deeply sensed when visiting the traditional Asian textiles fair, held at Al-Sadu House, Kuwait's weaving craft house, as part of the 24th edition Al-Qurain Cultural Festival.
The fair displays woven pieces and handicrafts made by natives of India, Kashmir, Iraq, Baluchistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz republic and Turkmenistan. (end) mjb.rk
