Lebanese lawmaker lauds Al-Ghanim's defense of Palestinian cause

RABAT, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- Lebanese lawmaker Emile Rahme hailed Thursday the effective role played by Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim in defending the Palestinian cause.
"Al-Ghanim represents all Arab lawmakers, people and the free Arab conscience," Rahme told KUNA on the sidelines of an urgent Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union session in Rabat.
He praised Al-Ghanim brave defense of the Palestinian people rights and refutation of the Israeli allegations at international organizations and events.
He recalled Al-Ghanim's recent encounter with the Israeli Knesset speaker at the Inter-Parliamentary Union. (end) myr.ibi
