Participants in Sheikh Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah Shooting tournament
KUWAIT, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- Competitions of Sheikh Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah Shooting tournament started on Thursday at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex.
Deputy director of the tournament, and the national shooting teams, Mohammad Al-Daihani, said that Kuwait's top shooters are participating in the three-day event, together with counterparts from the UAE and Qatar.
Winners will be honored on Saturday.
The fixture acquires importance as one of the oldest in Kuwait, and it qualifies winners for next grand competitions, topped with His Highness the Amir International Shooting Tournament, January 2018.
Shooters have performed well during the first day competitions, Al-Daihani said. (end)
