MANAMA, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- Arad Fort, in Muharraq Island east of Manama, is one of the important locations in the Kingdom, dating back to the 15th century.
The Fort was renovated in the 1980s. Its name was derived from "Aradous", an ancient Greek word referring to the Island of Muharraq. (end) hmd.gta
