Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lieutenant-General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khodr during his meeting with Belgium's army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Marc Compernol
KUWAIT, Dec 13 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lieutenant-General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khodr met Wednesday with visiting Belgian Minister of Defense and Civil Service, Steven Vandeput.
During the meeting, which was attended by Belgium's army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Marc Compernol, the officials discussed ways of promoting and bolstering military cooperation.
They also focused on the issues of mutual concerns, the Defense Ministry's Public Relations Department said in a statement.
The meeting was also attended by the Belgian Ambassador to Kuwait, Piet Heirbaut, in addition to a number of senior officers in the Kuwaiti army. (end)
