Continuing GCC, UK cooperation "important" - Kuwaiti Amb.

LONDON, Dec 13 (KUNA) -- It is important to continue the strategic and joint cooperation between the UK and the GCC to achieve the aspirations of both sides, said a Kuwaiti diplomat Wednesday.
On the sideline of the GCC-UK meeting hosted by the Kuwaiti embassy, Kuwaiti Ambassador to the UK Khaled Al-Dowaisan stressed the importance of implementing resolutions that came out of the Gulf-UK Summit held in Bahrain last year.
Speaking to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Dowaisan affirmed that Kuwait, which holds the current Presidency of the GCC, would do its best to bolster relations between the Gulf and the UK in the upcoming year.
The current meeting held at the Kuwaiti embassy was agreed upon during the Bahrain summit held in December 2016. (end) kd.gta
