KUWAIT, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- Chairman of Kuwait's Supreme Judicial Council and the Cassation Court, and President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Yousef Jassem Al-Mutawaa discussed Monday with his Indonesian counterpart Dr. Mohammad Ali bilateral judicial cooperation.
Al-Mutawaa, during the meeting, said that this meeting would push forward the framework of joint judicial cooperation with Indonesia, announcing the formation of a joint judicial committee of the two countries to develop bilateral cooperation programs, Ministry of Justice said in a statement.
Both sides signed a letter of intent in this regard, and stressed the importance of independent judiciary and its role in protecting rights and freedoms and achieving justice. (end)
