Eight mountaineers killed in avalanche in Iran's Lorestan

TEHRAN, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- At least eight mountaineers have been killed in an avalanche in Oshtorankuh Mountains in the Iranian western province of Lorestan, local authorities said on Saturday.
Eight bodies of the climbers were found, executive director of Iran Red Crescent Society Sarem Rezaei was quoted by Iranian media as saying.
He added that teams are searching for the last racer of the team, which was subjected to an avalanche while climbing the mountains. (end) mw.hm
