KUWAIT, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwait sea heritage festival will this season witness a diversity of traditional contests and activities, said chairman of the organizing committee on Saturday.
Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Sabah, in a statement to reporters to mark the launch of the sea heritage festival, said the committee would be organizing fishing contests off Watya, Fintas and Salmiya.
He said competitions would also be held for senior citizens in appreciation of their role.
Chairman of the media committee Talal Al-Ostath said the fishing contests would kick start end of December. (end)
