MANAMA, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said on Saturday his country commits itself to supporting international efforts against terrorism and extremism.
"The State of Kuwait is eager to back all international efforts to fight terrorism and extremism," Sheikh Azzam said to KUNA on the sidelines of the 13th Manama Dialogue held in Manama.
He stressed the significance of the event as a good opportunity for military and security experts to share views and visions on the way to maintain regional security and stability.
The 13th Manama Dialogue kick-started in Manama on Friday under the patronage of Bahraini Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad.
Kuwait is participating in the forum, which wraps up on Sunday, with a delegation led by Chairman of the National Security Apparatus (NSA) Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
The three-day 13th Manama Dialogue has brought together a huge number of security and military experts and academics. (end) hmd.mt
