GAZA, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian protester succumbed to the injury he sustained in clashes with Israeli security forces near eastern borders of Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon.
Maher Atallah, 54, has been the second martyr today, spokesman of the Palestinian Health Ministry Ashraf Al-Qodrah told reporters tonight.
Earlier today, Mohammad Al-Masri, 30, was shot dead by the Israeli army during clashes with protesters to east of Khan Yunis, south Gaza Strip.
More than 170 others were injured, including four seriously, in the clashes that broke out in Gaza Strip and the West Bank following the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Israeli warplanes launched several attacks on the Strip wounding 15 people. (pickup previous) wab.gb
