KUWAIT, Dec 6 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday received a congratulatory letter from His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on lifting the international suspension on Kuwait's sports activities.
In the letter, His Highness the Crown Prince said: "I'm pleased to offer Your Highness my congratulations on the lifting of international suspension by FIFA. This came due to instructions and good endeavors of Your Highness."
His Highness the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation of the strenuous and distinctive efforts exerted by His Highness the Amir for promoting Kuwait's status in all international arenas.
His Highness the Crown Prince has also commended fruitful cooperation and big efforts made by both legislative and executive authorities.
His Highness the Crown Prince prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow everlasting well-being on His Highness the Amir, the Humanitarian Leader, wishing Kuwait further prosperity and progress.
In reply, His Highness the Amir sent a letter to His Highness the Crown Prince, appreciating his warm sentiment and congratulations on this move taken today by FIFA.
His Highness the Amir hoped that the move would contribute to achieving aspired accomplishments at regional and international sports competitions and championships.
