KUWAIT, Dec 6 (KUNA) -- KUNA's Deputy Director-General for the Editorial Sector and Editor-in-Chief Saad Al-Ali, in presence of Deputy Director General for Communications, Financial, and Administrative Affairs Abdulhamid Malek, received on Wednesday a delegation from Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute.
The visiting delegation was led by Director of the Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Sharekh , and a group of trainees.
During the meeting, Al-Ali reviewed a host of issues on KUNA's work and media policy.
He said that KUNA contributes to supporting the state's orientation both at home and abroad. He added that the agency is keen on remaining as distinctive as ever in offering its news services, in line with the world-class professional standards, abiding by neutrality in reporting and analysis.
For his part, Al-Sharekh lauded KUNA's efforts for reporting and analyzing events, with high credibility.
It is one of the key Kuwaiti institutions, at home and overseas, he added, pointing to the huge margin of freedom media enjoys in Kuwait.
During the visit, the Institute's trainees were acquainted with how work proceeded at KUNA, and how news are handled both at the Arabic and the foreign desks. (end) nma.amh.msa
