Parl't begins discussing new sports' law

KUWAIT, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- The National Assembly began Sunday deliberations over the new sports law.
Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, in opening remarks, underlined the "constitutionality" of this special session.
Article 103 of the Kuwaiti Constitution stipulates that should the premier or a cabinet member relinquishes post for any reason; he/she carry on with "caretaking" duties until a successor is assigned.
Speaker Al-Ghanim, last Wednesday, invited cabinet and MPs to the special session to discuss the new sports law, which will be in line with FIFA's standards and regulations. (end) jy.hb
