KUWAIT, Dec 3 -- 1999 -- Kuwaiti artist, Mohammed Al-Sraye', passes away aged 59. The deceased was a pioneer in the field of theatre and played a role in the foundation of the Arab Gulf Theatrical Troupe.
2000 -- The cabinet approves a legislation for establishing of private universities in Kuwait.
2005 -- Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sponsor the golden jubilee ceremony for kindergartens.
2006 -- Head of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters opens Sadou House (House of Sadou) after its restoration to keep alive interest in the traditional Kuwaiti weaving art.
2006 -- Kuwait shooting team wins a gold medal at the 15th Asian Games held in Doha after shooters Khalid Al-Mudhaf, Nasser Al-Miqled and Abdurrahman Al-Faihan got 327 points. Shooter Nasser Al-Miqled also won a gold medal in the individual shooting category, hitting 133 out of 150 targets.
2006 -- MP Faisal Al-Meslem presents a grilling motion against Minister of Information Mohammad Al-Sanousi.
2008 -- Social Affairs and Labor Minister Bader Al-Duwailah inaugurates Al-Farwaniya traditional cafe.

2010 -- Kuwait national youth Tennis team wins under 12 and 16 GCC championship in Doha.
2012 -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah calls for holding the regular first session for the 14th legislative term of the National Assembly.
