Turkish pres. to visit Greece on Dec. 7-8

ANKARA, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to visit Greece on December 7-8, the presidency's spokesman said on Saturday.
Erdogan's two-day visit comes at the invitation of Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, where bilateral relations and regional issues will be discussed, Ibrahim Kalin said in a statement.
The visit is expected to take the two countries' relations up to a higher level, he added.
Erdogan will be the first Turkish president to visit Greece in 65 years. Celal Bayar was the last Turkish president to visit Greece, in 1952. (end) rs.mt
