Lebanese Pres., local leaders discuss aftermath of Al-Hariri's resignations

BEIRUT, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- Lebanese President Michel Aoun held meetings Tuesday with top politicians and legislators, discussing matters connected with the resignation of former Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri.
The Lebanese presidency said in a statement that the meetings focused on ways to solve the crisis resulting from the resignation of Hariri.
In the previous days, Aoun had held several gatherings with local Lebanese leaders focusing on national unity as a solution for the crisis.
Last Saturday, Saad Al-Hariri announced during a televised appearance his resignation from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hariri followed the announcement with a phone call informing Aoun of his decision. (end) wsm.gta
