Nazaha to partake in international anti-corruption conf.

KUWAIT, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) will partake in the seventh session of signatory states of the UN Convention against Corruption due in Vienna on Monday.
Nazaha said in a statement to KUNA on Saturday that its delegation would be headed by Chairman (counsellor) Abdulrahman Al-Nemash.
The five-day session will tackle the convention implementation, technical aid in the sector, mechanisms of combating corruption, repatriation of assets and bolstering international cooperation in the sector.
Participants in meetings of the session will address cooperation with international, regional organizations and NGOs in the realm of combating corruption, it said.
Nazaha, an independent authority, was established according to Law 2/2016, in response to the requirements stipulated by the UN anti-corruption convention. It advocates transparency and integrity in economic and administrative tasks for sake of securing rational management of states' financial resources and assets. (end) amn.rk
