Rohingyas' influx into Bangladesh on rise - UNHCR

GENEVA, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- UN refugee agency (UNHCR) said Friday more Rohingya Muslims were arriving at refugee camps in neighboring Bangladesh, as the conflict entered its third month.
A UNHCR spokesperson told reporters that around 3,000 refugees crossed the borders of Bangladesh on November 1-2, and were directed to the camps.
The influx of refugees was taking place as UNHCR was doing its best to deliver humanitarian aid for all people in Rakhine State, northern Myanmar, he said.
He underlined that the UN was committed in the right of Rohingya to return to their homes in a voluntary and safe manner. (end) ta.bs
