Wounded Palestinian dies -- health ministry

RAMALLAH, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- A young Palestinian who was wounded with Israeli troops' gunfire earlier on Tuesday succumbed to his injuries later and passed away, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
Mohammad Moussa, 26, was wounded when Israeli troops opened fire at him near the Israeli settlement Halamish close to Ramallah. His 33-year-old sister was also wounded in the shooting.
She was whisked to a hospital in Ramallah and her condition was said to be stable. Her brother was taken to an Israeli hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly later.
According to Israeli reports, the pair were wounded when the troops opened fire at a speeding vehicle, occupants of which appeared intending to ram it into the Israeli soldiers.
The incident came hours after Israeli forces bombarded a tunnel killing seven Palestinians. (end) nq.rk
