1962 -- Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah issued bill number 27/1962 on regulating trading in bank notes of companies abroad.
1962 -- Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah issued bill number 31/1962 on regulating Kuwait Municipality.
1982 -- Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued bill number 58/1982 on approval of unified economic agreement between the GCC states that was signed in Riyadh on November 11, 1981.
1999 -- Hawally slaughterhouse was opened.
2000 -- Kuwait and Congo signed an agreement to establish diplomatic ties.
2002 -- KFAED signed a contract for the issuance of bonds with the Credit and Savings Bank at the cost of 500 million Kuwaiti dinars.
2004 -- Power was cut out on most of Kuwait's areas as a result of a technical fault in Al-Omariyah power station.
