Saudi Arabian Airlines resume flights to Iraq after 27 years

RIYADH, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabian Airlines will resume official and regular flights from Jeddah to Baghdad, Iraq, tomorrow Monday, ending a 27-year-old halt.
A plane carrying Director General of the national carrier Saleh Al-Jasser, officials and guests will launch the service, official SPA news agency reported Sunday.
The operation of Saudi-Iraq route was another step in the development of relations between the two countries.
Saudi Arabian airlines said it would operate two round-trip flights daily between Jeddah and Baghdad.
It added that it planned to operate flights from Madina as well. (end) od.bs
