Kuwait's ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajry discussed with Romanian commerce minister Ilan Laufer the latest preparations for his upcoming visit to Kuwait
VIENNA, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajry discussed Monday with Romanian commerce minister Ilan Laufer the latest preparations for his upcoming visit to Kuwait on October 25-28.
The two sides discussed topics of common interest related to economy, investment and increasing trade surplus between the two countries, said Ambassador Al-Hajry in a statement to KUNA.
He welcomed the upcoming visit by Minister Laufer and his accompanying delegation to Kuwait.
The Romanian minister is expected to meet with top officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Business owners and heads of companies in Kuwait.
Al-Hajry also discussed with Minister Laufer procedures to facilitate issuance of visas to Kuwaiti investors and businessmen, and the possibility to host a Kuwaiti Romanian economy forum in the future.
He quoted the Romanian Minister as saying that he was looking forward for this visit to be able to promote economy, trade, and boost bilateral cooperation between the two countries.(end)
