KUWAIT, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- 1962 -- The Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah signed an agreement dealing with income tax and revenues on natural gas and liquid oil gas with British Petroleum and Gulf Kuwait companies.
1974 -- Kuwaiti Club for the Deaf was established.
1995 -- The Oil Minister Dr. Abdulmohsin Al-Mudeij announced the discovery of light oil with high density in Kiraa Al-Maruw, west of Kuwait.
2002 -- The Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issued a decree on the establishment of the department for citizens' service and the Government Performance follow up apparatus.
2003 -- Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi Center for Dyslexia at the Physical Therapy Hospital was inaugurated.
2005 -- UNESCO elected Kuwait member of the International Government Committee for the Hydrological Program.
2008 -- Kuwaiti shooter Mariam Rezouqi won a gold medal at the first Olympic shooting friendship championship that was held in Iran. (end) mb
