CAIRO, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- Three Egyptian policemen were killed and eight injured in a fire exchange with terrorists in Giza governorate, south of Cairo, the ministry of interior said Friday.
The National Security Sector received information that a number of terrorists were hiding in Wahat area in Giza, and sent a force to pursue them, official MENA news agency quoted a ministry source as saying.
When the force arrived at the hideout, the terrorists opened fire killing three policemen and injuring eight others, he said. The policemen retaliated and killed a number of terrorists.
