Palestinian Amb. to Kuwait hails Parliament Speaker speech at IPU

KUWAIT, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub said on Friday the speech by National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim, at the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly, Saint Petersburg, Russia, represents the conscious of all Arab countries.
In a press release, Tahboub added Al-Ghanim response to the Israeli delegation at IPU, especially with regard to Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, came as a natural response to the Israeli occupation, describing the delegation as a legal tool for the occupation.
The ambassador noted that the Palestinian state government and people followed closely the reaction and the speech by the Speaker at the session, noting that the speech revealed the true nature of the so-called "only true democracy" in the region, namely the Israeli legislative branch.
The Ambassador also praised His Highness the Amir letter to Al-Ghanim, which brings back all Arabs to the centralization to Arab issues, mainly the Palestinian case which all Arab countries should be united for.
Tahboub also thanked His Highness the Amir and expressed appreciation and admiration for his sentiments and regards as a humanitarian leader and to the National Assembly Speaker for representing the Kuwaiti people. (end) ysa.mb
