M-5.2 quake hits Iran's Yazd

TEHRAN, Oct 18 (KUNA) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted several parts of the Iranian province of Yazd, said Iranian authorities on Wednesday.
The quake took place at 5:07 pm LOCAL TIME in the depth of 10 kilometers, Iran's news agency (IRNA) quoted the seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute as saying.
It said that there is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage. (end) fz.hm
