Embassy confirms Kuwaitis in London safe

LONDON, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Embassy in London on Saturday confirmed that all Kuwaiti nationals are safe after a car allegedly ploughed into pedestrians outside the Natural History Museum.
The embassy, in a statement sent exclusively to KUNA, urged the Kuwaiti nationals, including the students, to be cautious and vigilant following the incident.
It asked them, in emergency cases, to call it on the phone number (02075903400), noting that the consulate staff work round the clock, and are ready to offer any help for the Kuwaitis.
Meanwhile, the British police announced today that it detained a man after his car ploughed into some pedestrians in front of the museum.
It said in a statement that the incident wounded some people, without saying if it was a terrorist or not. (end) mrn.hm
