KUWAIT, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Teachers Society is fully backing Kuwaiti candidate Saud Al-Harbi to chair the Arab League Educational Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), said the society's chairman Mutea Al-Ajmi.
In a press statement on Saturday, Al-Ajmi said the society is communicating with several ALECSO member-organizations to support Al-Harbi in the sixth extraordinary session of ALECSO's General Conference, held in Kuwait on 28 September.
ALECSO is set to hold a meeting in Kuwait next Tuesday to discuss the general program of the eighth special session of the organization's executive council. (end)
