Pyongyang's nuclear test "very hostile, dangerous" to the US -- Trump

WASHINGTON, Sept 3 (KUNA) - US President Donald Trump condemned Sunday North Korea's nuclear test saying its "very hostile and dangerous." Trump tweeted that North Korea's "words and actions continue to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States." He stressed that "North Korea is a rogue nation which has become a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success." "South Korea is finding, as I have told them, that their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work, they only understand one thing," he remarked.
Meanwhile, White House Spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement that "the national security team is monitoring this closely." She added that Trump and his national security team "will have a meeting to discuss further later today." When asked by a pooler if he plans to attack North Korea, Trump responded "we'll see." North Korea announced earlier today that it has successfully conducted a test of a hydrogen bomb that can be loaded into intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). (end) si.ibi
