People denied US entry by 1st travel ban can re-apply

WASHINGTON, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- People who were denied entry into the US under President Donald Trump's first travel ban which went into effect on January 27, will be able to reapply for visas, it was reported Thursday.
According to the settlement in the first travel ban case "all of those people who were denied entry but had proper documentation can now reapply for visas to enter the US." It was reported that "in agreeing to settle the original litigation, the Justice Department said it would notify people overseas who were blocked on January 27 and 28 that they have three months to reapply for visas with Justice Department assistance." Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments in October on a second order that Trump issued in March. (end) si.gta
