WASHINGTON, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- President Donald Trump is pledging USD 1 million of personal money to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Thursday.
Trump has actually asked Sanders to check with White House reporters on which aid organizations are best and most effective in helping and providing aid.
"He'd love some suggestions from the folks here, and I'd be happy to take those if any of you have them," she said during a briefing. Trump will "pledge probably a million dollars of his own personal money to help the people of both Texas and Louisiana," Sanders said.
