Saudi Arabia launches Farsi-speaking station covering Hajj season

MAKKAH, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- A television station, dedicated to those who speaking the Farsi language, began Wednesday to broadcast live footage from the Hajj.
The station's moderator Adel Al-Barriah told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the channel would provide valuable information about Hajj rituals in Farsi.
The broadcasts will also display Saudi Arabia's strong efforts to provide topnotch services to Hajj pilgrims. The 24-hour live broadcast targets more than 130 million Farsi speakers around the globe. (end) nsa.gta
