MOSCOW, Aug 29 (KUNA) -- Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin discussed military cooperation with his Iranian counterpart, Nasrallah Kalantari, in Moscow on Tuesday.
The two sides discussed cooperation in the fields of battle and defence-related technology and developments in the Middle East situation, Russia's Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The two sides expressed the importance of increasing military ties, saying the talks took place in a friendly atmosphere.
Russia last year supplied Iran with a modern S-300 missile system as part of a deal worth USD one billion. (end)
