Jordan to re-publish Kuwaiti story for children

AMMAN, Aug 29 (KUNA) -- Jordanian Ministry of Culture will re-publish the children story "city of clouds" by the young Kuwaiti writer Heba Mandani.
Dr. Ahmad Rashed, the ministry's assistant general secretary, told KUNA that the story was selected for re-publishing due to its high assessment and acclaim by a supreme national commission.
Last year, the Jordanian committee selected the story "Nora and her magical shoes" by Munira Al-Edan due to the high demand for it among the children.
Mandani has won several awards for her child literary works. (end) mjb.rk
