Booby-trapped car kills three people in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Three people were killed and six others injured on Monday when a booby-trapped car exploded east of the capital, the Iraqi Police announced on Monday.
A source in the local police told KUNA that the explosion took place in Jameela area, and the casualties and injured were rushed to the nearby hospital.
The police cordoned off the scene and started investigations of the incident, with high expectations that it was plotted by the so-called Islamic state (IS). (end) ahh.lb
