Ceasefire with IS declared on Syria-Lebanon border

AMMAN, Aug 27 (KUNA) -- A ceasefire has been declared in offensives against the so-called Islamic State (IS) on the Syria-Lebanon border, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
A reliable sources reported to SOHR that the Lebanese Hezbollah group and the Syrian army declared a ceasefire in their attack against Islamic State in Syria's western Qalamoun region.
The ceasefire is to allow negotiations over the fate of several Lebanese soldiers captured by militants three years ago, the source added.(end) tk.haq
