By Abdulaziz Al-Mejren KUWAIT, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved Thursday airlines' requests to operate 147 additional flights for Hajj season and Eid Al-Adha holiday.
The number of additional flights to Saudi Arabia has amounted to some 53 carrying 8,200 pilgrims, while the number of flights for Eid Al-Adha has come to about 94 operating between August 20 to September 10, Eng. Yousef Al-Fouzan, DGCA's Director General of Civil Aviation, stated to KUNA.
Al-Fouzan urged passengers to be present at the airport and check-in to their flights much earlier than their departure time in order to avoid crowdedness, wishing them safe journey and safe return. (end) aam.jk.ma
